The talk given will be from a forthcoming book and will focus on understanding collective human evolution from the standpoint of a Scorpio energetic standpoint. The focus will be on the Galactic Center and its ambassador, Pluto, and what it wants for us as a race and as individuals in terms of spiritual maturity.
Just as we are on the verge of a planetary change of Ages from Pisces to Aquarius we are also maturing out of a Solar Age of Scorpio into one of Sagittarius. The influence of the sign of Scorpio has been behind the collective evolution of Western Man from at least "his" beginnings in the last Ice Age to now. Today's Western society is a MATURITY of this influence right before it transistions into the Sagittarian model. The energy for the evolution of Western culture in its Scorpio orientations comes from the Galactic Center which is our Sun's sun.
This is expanded exponentially in the explanation of how the structure of modern Western society is Scorpionic in its goals and orientation and the illustration of what a maturity of these structures into the Sagittarian archetype might look like.
Kilaya graduated from Stanford University in 1993 with a degree in Modern Thought and then lived and worked as a fine artist in Manhattan and Venice Beach for 10 years before moving to Santa Fe. In Santa Fe he practiced an intense Buddhist/Shamanic spiritual path for 3 years during which he received an intuitive understanding of astrology over a number of weeks while living in the wilderness. He has traveled to most continents on the earth, most recently studying indigenous cultures in Australia and Africa. He expects to publish his first book of astrology by new year 2009.
